Ivanna Rumiantseva, 10 y.o. Bila Tserkva. Lost her father, who was an officer. He bravely attacked the occupiers, who blocked his military unit near Bucha in the Kyiv region. She experiences severe emotional distress but actively helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

I wrote a diary to make everybody know what hero of a father we had – he did not surrender but went on the attack. He was cheerful, and we used to go to the pool together, as it was his hobby. We often visited his military unit – it was so beautiful there, but when I saw it entirely destroyed by the bombing, razed to the ground, I didn’t even recognise it.
My older sister’s husband, Zhenia, was too in that unit during those events but in a different position. He was lucky; he managed to survive that terrible attack in the village of Mykolaivka. And Daddy couldn’t.
We are currently collecting memories of our father to create our e-book of memories – a diary with videos and recent photos.
After the search party arrived at the territory of the military unit where the battle took place and found Daddy, they gave us his burned phone and military badge.
I do my absolute best to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At first, we supported our army with small donations. Then we bought the magnets, sold by our volunteers, and the earned money was given to the Armed Forces. Then my godfather gave me UAH 1,000. After that, during the Christmas holidays, I sang carols for people and collected even more money. I donated UAH 2,500 to the volunteers from Khutorok who wanted to buy a drone for our soldiers. I also painted pictures that were sold at auctions. And I made my great dream come true:
I donated UAH 10,000 for a drone, which we named in honour of Daddy – Illich, his call sign.
I plan to continue volunteering in the future, too.
